Hi every body I went into a music shop today to buy a new guitar I was looking for a Takamine or a yamaha or something similar, I didnt have a price in mind but was prepared to pay up to $1500, I played about 10 including cole clarke , Maton 225, maton 808 jumbo ($2000) , Cort etc etc. I picked up the lag summer ($695) thinking I was wasting my time but it was the nicest guitar in the shop it sounded fantastic the whole finish of the guitar is flawless, you can run your hand along the top & bottom of the frets without feeling them. I was disgusted in the matons after playing this. The matons in the shop & there were about 8 & i played all of them did not come close to quality in sound or feel. But I still wasn't convinced that A $700 guitar could be this good so I plugged it in to an Ibanez t35 troubadour & it sounded even better the eq setup is the easiest you will ever use & sounds fantastic.
for $1200 I took the guitar case & amp home.
I would never have even considered buying a Lag
but I am so glad I picked it up.
I have been playing for over 20 years & have owned Matons, Yamaha's,Takamine,Fender, Ovation & would highly recommend a Lag summer to any level of guitarist.
